Summer brings changes to the opening hours and service times of the Salo employment services’ customer service points

Some customer service points of Salon Employment Services operate with reduced opening hours. Summer brings changes to the operation of the Ohjaamo for young people and the municipality’s employment experiment.

The job seekers’ service point Voimala is open all summer

At Voimala’s low-threshold service point, you can get help and guidance for job and education applications as well as maintaining work ability. Voimala is located at Vilhonkatu 2.

Voimala serves as follows:

• The service point is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm
• The café is open from July 8th to August 11th, Monday to Wednesday from 10 am to 2:30 pm

Unlike the normal weekly program, Voimala does not have experts from different fields available during the summer. Digital support is available on Wednesdays from 11 am to 1:30 pm.

Voimala has the EasySalo counseling point for immigrants from June 24th to July 26th, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm.

Opening hours for the Ohjaamo for young people

The Ohjaamo is a service point for young people aged 15 to 29, where you can get tips and support for job, education, and housing searches, as well as career choices and leisure activities.

The Salon Ohjaamo operates in the premises of Voimala.

The Ohjaamo is open for drop-in visits from June 24th to August 18th, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 pm to 3 pm.

Summer service hours for Salon’s employment experiment

The municipality’s experiment with employment in Salon serves on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 pm at Voimala between July 1st and July 26th.

The drop-in service for integration services at the Salon City Hall is closed from June 24th to July 28th.
